I found out last week that the Meta (🧟♀️) ads that I paid for were only being clicked on by (jumpscare!) men … aandddd you can see my fear when you look at this graph.
I thought the ads were doing so well, and it turns out men just click on pictures of women. 🤦🏽♀️
Anyway so I decided to be WAY MORE CLEAR ☀️ in my advertising strategy so that people who actually want to hear about emoji and risky texts and human connection would get the ads. I used phrases like “Lady Gaga,” “Broadway Theatre” “Indian food” and “Feminist philosophy” to target my ads. 🧠
