SHOULDA ! COULDA ! WOULDA !

THIS SUNDAY at 8:30pm

at BROOKLYN COMEDY COLLECTIVE (167 Graham Ave, BK),

[Doors at 8:15, don’t play yourself!]

🎭 The ONLY dating advice show that’s also like an Everything Everywhere All At Once (or Futurama? IYKYK) multiverse simulator! Tickets here.

We’ll hear a real love dilemma from the brilliant Andrea Coleman (NPR, Apple TV+), and then run wild with it:

☑️what SHOULD she do?

☑️what COULD she do?

☑️what WOULD we, (unhinged comedy monsters), do?

Then we find out what actually happened. 🍿

Chaos, catharsis, improv, love. It’s the most fun you’ll ever have on a Sunday night.

This show’s extra special because I get to do it with two of my dearest, intuitive, eyebrow-telepathy-level friends 👀🤨

First up: ASH MAYERS.
We met at a free commercial acting workshop (RIP The Squirrel Comedy Theatre, ever exalted in our collective comedy memory and birthplace of SCW). I was creeping on Zoom-squares, checkin’ for hotties, and immediately clocked Ash. She was effortlessly cool, wildly talented, obviously funny. I slid into her DMs like, “YOU’RE FUNNY AND PRETTY,” and she slid right back with “SAME!!! LET’S BE FRIENDS!” And then… we actually followed up. It was glorious. An adult-friendship win. 🤝🏽 👯‍♀️

Ash is a star ⭐️ — a phenomenal actor, model, comedian, improviser, content creator, PIT’s SNL scholar—and on Sunday, we’ll be doing a full-length Shoulda Coulda Woulda set together. 🥹

And then we both actually followed up. It was glorious. And this Sunday, Ash and I will do a full-length Shoulda Coulda Woulda with us!!! Get tickets here.

Look at us after a Boogiemanja show. Aren’t we so radiant? Get a ticket here.

AND THAT’S NOT ALL...

Our special guest is none other than Andrea Coleman.

YYou’ve heard her on NPR. You’ve seen her on Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime. She’s the creator of Three White Guys Named John, and the host of Public Victories at Young Ethel’s. Oh—and she’s a lawyer, Reiki healer, and intuitive creative force.

She’s also the reason I applied to Fringe.
She came to my “Benefit for 2 Families” show and told me to apply. We ran into each other the day before the deadline at Delancey-FUCKING-Essex and she was like: “Did you do it?” AND THEN she picked up the phone while I was freaking out, and talked me through the application. 🫶🏽

We met performing at Joe’s Pub. Here’s a pic from that night before we were friends (we’re the not-white ones, lol).

And here’s the selfie I forced her to take with me after. I was like “Let’s take a selfie, because we’re going to be friends.”

And the crazy twist is…. ASH WAS THERE THAT NIGHT TOO. 🔮
